Download or Update the Gather 1.0 Desktop App

To experience the best of Gather, we recommend using the most up-to-date version of our 1.0 Desktop App for Mac and Windows.

Once you’ve installed the Gather 1.0 Desktop App, it will automatically prompt you to update it when a new version is released.

If a Desktop Update Fails

If your desktop app fails to update, we first recommend re-installing the latest version: 

• Gather 1.0 Dektop App for Mac
• Gather 1.0 Desktop App for Windows

If you’re using a VPN or Firewall, it could be blocking the download from properly running. In this scenario, we recommend either:

• Temporarily disabling the VPN/Firewall so the update can run
• Add a rule to your settings allowing “github.com”
