Gather 1.0 Refund Policy

Gather does not offer refunds for unused Space Capacity, unused subscription time, or missed cancellations. 

To avoid overpaying, we recommend reviewing and adjusting your subscription or reservation capacity so it matches your expected usage.

If you believe you were charged incorrectly, received a duplicate charge, or have billing questions, please contact our support team at support@gather.town. We’re happy to review your account and assist where possible.

Monthly & Annual Subscriptions

When you cancel your subscription or reduce your Space Capacity, the change will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.

Gather does not provide prorated refunds for unused time in an active billing cycle. Renewed subscriptions are also non-refundable if they were not canceled before the renewal date. It is the account holder’s responsibility to manage and cancel their subscription prior to renewal if they no longer wish to continue service. Refund requests based on an active subscription not being canceled, overlooked renewals, or a user being unaware that their subscription remained active are generally not eligible for a refund.

⚠ Please note that Gather offers two separate platforms with independent billing systems (Gather 1.0 and Gather 2.0). If an account has used both platforms, each subscription and billing history may need to be reviewed separately, as changes, cancellations, and refunds on one platform do not automatically apply to the other.

One-Time Reservations

Once an event has started or ended, Gather does not provide refunds for unused capacity, lower-than-expected attendance, completed reservation time, or general technical issues that do not prevent the event from taking place. We recommend reviewing and adjusting your reservation capacity before the event begins to ensure it matches your expected attendance and event needs.
