What is Gather 1.0?

Gather 1.0 is the classic version of Gather. Create a virtual office to break down the barriers of remote work, or create a virtual event space to bring in-person collaboration to distributed communities.
Gather 2.0 is the latest version of our platform, built specifically for remote teams so you can work, chat, and interact like you're in person. Compared to Gather 1.0, it has a new and improved UI and art style, more integrations (like GitHub and Spotify), and new collaboration features like coworking areas.
