Gather’s Zapier integration (currently in Beta) allows you to trigger Zaps when you have a new meeting recording available in Gather. This unlocks powerful workflows like:

  • Instantly uploading recordings to Google Drive/OneDrive
  • Automatically importing recordings into AI transcription apps
  • Sending Slack messages when new recordings are uploaded
  • And more!

Recording meetings is a Premium Office feature. To use the Zapier integration for meeting recordings, you must be a member of a Remote Office Space with an active monthly subscription.

You must have a recent meeting recording from Gather in order to test the Zap. The test will fail if Zapier cannot locate any recordings in your account. New recordings will take approximately 30 minutes to process and appear in Zapier. (Meeting recordings will be available in Gather before they're made available to Zapier.)

  1. Open Zapier
  2. Click Create in the top left and then click Zaps
  3. In the Trigger, search for Gather in the search bar
  4. In the Setup tab, open the Trigger Event dropdown and select “New Meeting Video Recording"
    1. Note: This is currently the only trigger event available. We hope to build more in the future!
  5. In the Setup tab, link your Account
  6. Click Continue
  7. In the Configure tab, open the Space dropdown to select the Gather space you want to connect. Click Continue.
  8. Test the integration to ensure your account and space are connected properly
  9. Add actions to automate what happens after a new meeting recording is available. (See ideas below.)
  10. Click Publish to start using your Zap!

At this time, the following AI transcription apps are incompatible with Gather via Zapier as they do not support video/audio upload:

  • Otter
  • Grain
  • Gong
  • Fathom

Please note that this could change at any time due to updates by the third-party provider.
