How to Collect Desktop Logs for Troubleshooting

If you're having trouble with your Gather space, we may ask for your Desktop Logs in order to help our team troubleshoot. Follow the steps below to collect your logs and automatically send them to our team. 

Desktop Logs are most helpful immediately after you experience a problem in your space. Please try to send them immediately after the issue occurs and before refreshing, restarting, or closing Gather.

To Collect Desktop Logs on Mac:

  1. Click the Gather icon at the top of the system tray.
  2. Click Send Desktop Logs and then Confirm.
  3. Success! Your logs have been submitted. 

To Collect Desktop Logs on Windows:

  1. Click the Gather icon in the bottom of your system tray. 
  2. Hover over Troubleshooting and select Send Desktop Logs 
  3. Click Confirm.
  4. Success! Your logs have been submitted.
