Edit and View User Profiles

Help your coworkers learn more about you. Your profile is the perfect place to introduce yourself, share your interests, and add important information to help others work with you. 

Profiles are only available for Members in Remote Office Spaces. This feature is currently not available in Conference Spaces. 

Edit Your Profile

To view and edit your own Gather profile, you can either click on your avatar or hover over your desk. Click the Edit Profile button.

‍In your profile, you can add: 

  • Your name and pronouns
  • Your status (great for sharing what you’re working on or “out of office” information)
  • Your timezone and location
  • Your job title and start date (to celebrate work anniversaries!) 
  • Your email and phone number
  • A description and photo (to help your coworkers learn more about you both in and outside the virtual office)

View Someone Else's Profile

To view another office member's profile, click on their avatar or name in the Participants Panel. Select View Profile

You'll see all the information they've added to their profile. This can help you learn more about them and maybe even give you a few conversation starters the next time you bump into them in the virtual lunch room!
