Comparing the Free, Premium, and Enterprise Subscriptions

Gather offers three subscription types: Free, Premium, and Enterprise. This article will explain how our subscription pricing works and compare the features of each plan.

Overview

When you create your first Remote Office on Gather, you'll automatically be enrolled in a 30-day free trial that allows you to invite up to 50 people to work in your space. This gives you a chance to onboard everyone, hold meetings, plan socials, and get a sense of how Gather enhances your day-to-day work with each other! 

After the Remote Office Free Trial ends, you can either continue using Gather on the free plan or upgrade to a Premium or Enterprise Subscription. 

To choose the best plan for your team, consider these three factors: 

  1. The number of people you want to have in the space at the same time (Space Capacity)
  2. The features you want access to
  3. The billing frequency that works best for your organization (monthly or annually) 

The price of the Premium and Enterprise Subscriptions are determined by your Space Capacity: The maximum number of concurrent users allowed in the space at the same time. This number includes Members and Guests. For example, if your Space Capacity is 40, you could have 30 Members and 10 Guests (or 30 Guests and 10 Members, or any other combination) at the same time.

  1. If you're working with fewer than 10 people and only need basic features, use the Free Plan. 
  2. If you're working with fewer than 10 people but want advanced features, upgrade to a Premium Subscription

FAQs

  • No, the Premium Subscription is $7 per every user in your Space Capacity. For example, an office with a Space Capacity of 11 would cost $77 per month.
  • Yes. If you plan to regularly invite clients, job applicants, or other people outside of your organization into your space, we recommend choosing a Space Capacity slightly higher than the size of your team. 
  • We've built in a small buffer to Space Capacity in case you temporarily exceed it. In the event that you need to have many more people in your space, you can follow this guide to increase space capacity.
